She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Burley "Buck" Toole and Edna Earl Lewis Toole; her husband Harold Augustus Alston, Sr.; her siblings, Thelma Cole, Frances Payne, Arthur Toole, W. C. "Bill" Toole and Edward "Bud" Toole; and her son-in-law Jack Talyor.
She is survived by: her daughter Dianne A. Talyor of Pelham, AL; and her sisters, Pat Newberry of Arlington, GA and Sue Barksdale of Marietta, GA.
