She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas Gleaton and Laverne Ione Sanders Gleaton; her husband Clinton Horace Spurlock; her son Clint Spurlock; and her siblings, Eudean Hudgins and Bobby Gleaton.
She is survived by: her son Alan Spurlock (Melinda) of Lanett, AL; her daughter-in-law Joyce Spurlock of Newton; her brother Curtis Gleaton (Geraldine); and her grandchildren, Alex Spurlock, Cullen Spurlock (Rochelle), Rory Spurlock (Kristen), Dylan Spurlock (Braylie Blanton) and Elena Odom (Patrick). She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
