He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Phillips and Effie Childers Phillips; and his wife Bette Holladay Phillips. He is survived by: his children, Beth Sullivan (David), David Phillips (Cindy) and Teri Gordon (Hugh); his grandchildren, Seth, Zack, Nicholas, Ryan, Jonathan, Sarah and Rebecca; and his great grandchildren, Braiden, Austin, Samuel and David. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
