He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Doyl "Tom" Akins and Minnie Lee Godfrey Akins; his siblings, Billy Akins, Nancy Holliday and Brenda Akins; and his niece Kimberly Powell Williams.
He is survived by: his nieces, Jessica Sanders, Bessie Hudson (David) and Krissy Merva (Nick); his great-niece Braylee Watkins; his great-nephew Nick Gibbs; and his extended family, Barbara, Glenn Dodd, Linda Childers, Rita, Curtis Sanders, Makayla Coleman, Kynleigh Russell, Holly Stahl and Brody Amos.
Memorial donations in Tommy's memory may be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
