With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Busby Moates of Aragon, Georgia, born in Leeds, Alabama, who passed away on November 9, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, F. L. Busby and Willie Ann Wright Busby; her husband Raidon M. Moates; her son Ronald Monroe Moates; and her siblings, Buford Busby, Marvin Busby, James Busby, Vernon Busby and Edna Hughes.

She is survived by: her daughter Brenda; her son-in-law Jarrell Cagle of Rome; her son Ted; her daughter-in-law Chris Moates of Aragon; her grandchildren, Ronald (Amey Cagle), Angie Cagle, Josh (Brittany Moates) and Kathryn (Joey Drummond); and her great grandchildren, Raiden Cagle, Laura Moates and Brynleigh Moates.
