He was predeceased by: his parents, E. G. Copeland, Sr. and Virginia Gatliff Copeland; and his brothers, Pete Copelan and David Copeland. He is survived by: his wife Doris Copelan of Aragon, GA; his children, Kim Wright (Darrell) of Aragon, GA, Stacy Bennett (Ricky) of Aragon, GA and Dutch Copelan (Regan) of Aragon, GA; his grandchildren, Clay Bennett, Elizabeth Forsyth, Alex Black and William Raymund Copelan; and his siblings, Rebecca Ham (John) of Forsyth, GA and Patrick Copeland (Jody). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
