With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Edwards Wheeler of Aragon, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Everett Edwards and Lois Duke Edwards; her husband Rev. James B. Wheeler, Sr.; her son James B. Wheeler, Jr.; her brother Ricky Edwards; and her great grandchild Jake Wheeler.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa Hembree (Michael), David Wheeler and Jonathan Wheeler; and her brother Rev. Michael S. Edwards (Diane). She is also survived by Ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and sever nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Polk Memory Gardens (2245 Rockmart Hwy, Cedartown, GA 30125).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
