We are sad to announce that on March 12, 2021, at the age of 79, James Eugene Deaton of Aragon, Georgia, born in Rockmart, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Deaton and Bessie Holland Deaton; and his wife Glenda Mae Deaton. He is survived by: his children, Darrell Deaton, Kathy Burt (Gary), Karen Pilgrim (Tommy) and Tim Deaton; and his sisters, Frankie Lanham and Betty Smith. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
