He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Martin Smith and Mildred Knowles Smith; and his brothers, Jerry and Larry Smith. He is survived by: his children, Dwight Smith (Tiffany), Melissa Bishop (Allen), Dwayne Smith (Trenna), Kevin Smith (B. J.) and Tonya Manning; and his siblings, Roy Smith (Diane), Ronald Smith (Connie), Dallas and Debra Rouse (Dan). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
