He is survived by: his wife Brenda Hitt; his children, Kelley Hitt, Lisa Marie Bridges (Vernon), Jimmy Hitt, James Allen Hitt, Jr. (Christina West) and Michael Grubbs; his grandchildren, Ava Marie Hitt, Anna Elaine Hitt, James Alexander Hitt, Michael Aaron Hitt, Jeremy Nicholas Bridges, Caleb Michael Bridges, Cassandra Rose Bridges, Brianne Grubbs, Jasmine Smitko, Landon Smitko, Maximus Smitko and Robert Bass (Isabel Rodriguez Bass); his sister Debbie Moody (Maurice Moody); and his brother-in-law Ray Treadway. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
