He is survived by: his son Scott; his daughter-in-law Nyoaka Atkins of Rockmart; his siblings, Bobby Atkins (Syble), Jesse Atkins (Peggy) and Linda Braselton; his granddaughter Morgan Atkins (Kurtis Bransford); and his great grandchildren, Linkin Atkins, Leviticus "Levi" Atkins and Ledger Atkins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
