He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Deems and Annie Mae Deems; and his siblings, Jewell Pendergraff, Agnes Bowers, Coy Deems, Raven Deems, Raiford Deems and Floyd Deems.
He is survived by: his children, Gay Weaver (Kenneth) of Aragon, GA and Shane Deems of Taylorsville, GA; his granddaughters, Ashley Hopkins and Amber Weaver; his great grandchildren, Autumn Hopkins, Sadie Hopkins, Payton Mulkey and Preston Mulkey; and his siblings, Sara Moates, Joyce Bowman, Onita Lindsey, Alton Deems and Mack Deems. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
