She was predeceased by: her parents, Riley Wade Akins and Eva Estelle Jacobs Akins; her husband Horace Sterling Lewis; and her siblings, Mary Knowles, Ethel Jameson, Frances Meers, Mavis Tibbits, Mackie Akins, Melvin Akins and Charles Akins.
She is survived by: her children, Eva Charlene Lewis, David Lewis (Kathy) and Gary Lewis (DeAnn); and her sisters, Sadie Pittman, Joyce Hulsey and Linda Lancaster. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
