Though Charlene Joyce may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Charlene Joyce touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Hilton Bradford and Gladys Jones Bradford; and her sister-in-law Diane Beatrice "Dee" Bradford. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Boatner; her sons, Jeff Boatner (Rhonda), Randy Boatner (Robin), Russell Boatner (Jennifer) and Toney Boatner (Samantha); and her siblings, Vickie "Aunt B" Deems (Harold), Synard Bradford (Teresa), Ricky Bradford and Michael Bradford (Dianne). She is also survived by grandkids, great gradkids, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Boatner's Residence (243 Brumbelow Rd, Aragon, GA 30104).
