He is survived by: his wife Genell Pipkin Adkins; his sons, Lee, Kelly Adkins of Dawsonville, Earl and Jamie Adkins of Santa Claus, IN; his brother J. W. Adkins of Vienna; and his grandchildren, Charley King, Caylee Adkins, Aubry Adkins, Austyn Adkins and Laney Adkins.
