She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Cooper and Edith Cooper; her husband Edwin Davis Lee; and her sisters, Mattie Lucy Reynolds and Edith Lucile McKinney.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Carney (Jerry) of Cordele, Mike Lee (Cindy) of Arabi, Pat Story (Wendell) of Cordele and Pam Dollar (David) of Arabi; her grandchildren, Jennifer Collman (Jonathan) of Charlotte, NC, Chris Carnery of Denver, CO, Michael Lee (Beth) of Hahira, Sunny Brinson (Matt) of Savannah, Matthew Story (Joellyn) of Cataula and Abby Minshew (Chris) of Cordele; her great grandchildren, Hollis, Everett, Addison, Grayson Carney, Morgan Minshew and Sawyer Story; and her sisters, Faye Carter (Leon) and Rachel Smith (Arthur). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Arabi Baptist Church (3930 1st Ave, Arabi, GA 31712). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials to Pruitt Hospice, Arabi Baptist Church or the charity of your choice, would please the family.
