He was predeceased by: his father Howard Lee James; his siblings, Lawrence James and Charlotte Bullard; and his nephew Ashley James. He is survived by: his mother Dell McAvoy James of Washington; his daughter Shannon Scott (Joey) of Thomson; his siblings, Ronnie James of Washington and Susan Pilgrim of Thomson; his granddaughters, Summer Scott and Emma Scott; and his nieces, Savannah James and Bryanna Johnson.
