He is survived by: his wife Frances Patricia Wilson Lanier; his children, Troy S. Lanier, Mark D. Lanier (Tracy), Brandon C. Lanier (Cynthia), Becky Lanier, Patricia Lanier, John R. Morris (Teresa) and Penny E. Anderson (Jimmy); and his sister Renee Hicks (Dennis). He is also survived by twenty grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
