It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nadean Brannen Westberry Stephens of Appling, Georgia, who passed away on February 21, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, C. E. Westberry (Gene) and James W. Stephens; her daughter Dolores Westberry; and her parents, Don Brannen and Inez Brannen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Lightsey of Bristol and Donna Douglas (Daniel) of Madison; her grandchildren, Brandon Lightsey (Kimberly) and Shana Tompkins (Jake); her great grandchildren, Harley, Grant, Carter, Luke Lightsey, Karsyn Bennett, Charlie Hugh Lightsey, Haidyn and Henry Tompkins; her stepchildren, Sandra Batten (Tommy), Genelda Denison (Darrel) and Danny Stephens (Glenda); her stepgrandchildren, Pamela Jaworski, Thomas Batten, Nancy Hutchenson, Douglas Stephens and Bronze Denison; and her grandsons, Brooks, Charlie Lightsey, Drew Douglas, Jake Tompkins and Mark Thornton. She is also survived by nine step great grandchildren.
