With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Murline Griffis Mcguire of Appling, Georgia, who passed away on January 26, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Larry Carter and Dave Mcguire; her parents, William Griffis and Ruth L. Griffis; and her great grandchild McKenzie Mock.
She is survived by: her children, Celinia Crapps, Stephanie (Gary Odom) and Larry Dewayne Carter; her grandchildren, William Mock, Courtney Odom, Gary Odom and Alyiah Crapps; and her siblings, Lorene Moore, Alene Beasley, Ilene (Paul Branch), Earldeen Griffis, Marvin (Beth Griffis) and Virgil (Robby Griffis).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Faith Baptist Church (1670 Ben Carter Rd, Baxley, GA 31513). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
