It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Allen Dempsey Jr. of Appling, Georgia, who passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Allen Dempsey, Sr. and Reba Orr Dempsey. He is survived by: his children, Allen Dempsey (Rachel) and Amy Awad (James); his grandchildren, Kinley, Ethan, Evan, Beckam, Chandler and Noah; and his sister Jackie Hoyt (Dennis).
