We bid farewell to Jo Ann Nordan of Appling, Georgia, born in Hickory, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 10, 2025 at the age of 89. Jo Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid Jo Ann farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jo Ann is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Nordan, Jr.; her parents, Paul Theodore Whitener and Letha Brown Whitener; and her granddaughter Kathryn Renee Potter (Nordan). She is survived by: her sons, Rob Nordan (Elizabeth), Bill Nordan (Melanie) and Ron Nordan (Cindy). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 6555 Cobbham Road, Appling, Georgia 30802.
