He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cleveland and Nell Akins Edenfield; his wife Sylvia Diane Edenfield; his brother Terry Edenfield; his brother-in-law Larry Saim; and his nephew Butch Edenfield.
He is survived by: his son Dr. Jeffery Edenfield (Andrea Edenfield) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Dr. Jessica Kurtz (Garrett) of Charlotte and Nathaniel Edenfield (Melissa) of New York; his great grandchild Cooper Kurtz; his sister Sharon Saim of McLouth, Kansas; his sister-in-law Mary Edenfield; and his nieces and nephews, Lynette, Melissa, Teresa, Kris and Kurtis.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Howard & Jones Funeral Home (777 S 1st St, Jesup, GA 31545). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Bethesda Cemetery.
