He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Clinton Bass and Bertie Maybell Ryals Bass; and his siblings, Sarah Nell Herndon, Stephen Clinton Bass and Jacob Edwards Bass.
He is survived by: his siblings, Larry (Glenda Bass), Thelma Rentz, Betty Faye Jackson and Ann Patterson (Buck).
