He is survived by : his wife, Mary Newsome Josey, his children, Jack E. Josey, Jr., Derrick Elkins (Cathy), Christy Elkins Deems and Kim Elkins; and his grandchildren, Cody Rollins (Elizabeth), Baylee Rollins, Dylan Mosley and Georgie Mosley.
