With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hilda Black (Appling, Georgia), who passed away on December 24, 2020 at the age of 70. She was predeceased by: her parents, P. B. Weaver, Jr. and Lillie Thornton Weaver; her brother Cecil Weaver; and her grandchildren, Jack Daniel Smith and Tiffany Nicole England.
She is survived by: her husband Dale Black of Baxley; her children, Angela Wilcox (Rodney) of Surrency, Tina Smith (Porkey) of Baxley and Rodney Black (Sheena) of Baxley; her siblings, Cynthia Altman (Hoyt) of Baxley and Cleve Weaver (Cheryl) of Baxley; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Weaver. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
