He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Garland; his daughter Lynn Garland Finch; and his brother Jim Garland. He is survived by: his children, Gene Garland (Robin), Noel Garland (Samantha), Cassidy Garland (Stacy), Cherry Simpson (Keith), Cynthia Sams and Crystal Townsend (Chris); and his siblings, Tommy Garland (Brenda), Theo Garland (Sharon), Ronnie Garland (Jan) and Doris Garland. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
