He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sylvia Stacks Hamby; his daughters, Robyn Veal (Joey) and Shelley Lynch; and his grandchildren, James A. Wombles, Jr. (Valerie) and Chase Lynch. He was also cherished by three great grandchildren; two nephews and a niece.
