He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly Leggett Simmons; and his parents, Lester Simmons and Genevieve Nail Simmons. He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Simmons (Matheus Turle) and Scotty Simmons (Brandi); his stepchildren, Jessica Faulk (Christopher), Michael Beecher (Leslie) and Hannah Beecher; his grandchildren, Allie Simmons, Randyn Simmons, Rhett Simmons, Zack Davis (Ashley), Haylee Davis (Landon), Cayson "Peanut" Beecher, Lane "Sweetpea" Beecher, Walker "Little Buddy" Hall and Charlotte "Charlie Mae" Beecher; his great grandchild Reagan Davis; and his siblings, Lester Simmons (Emma Lou) and Mary Simmons Hutcheson (David). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Nobles Funeral Home & Crematory (85 Anthony St, Baxley, GA 31513). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
