She was predeceased by: her parent Besty Pugh; her husband Ralph Glen Melton; her siblings, Jim Harvel, Floyd Harvel, Margie Harvel and Clara Perry; her nephews, Boyce Major and Greg Major; and her brother-in-law Otis Warren Melton, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce Polatty (Frank), Joanna Bargeron (Patrick, SR) and Lynn Melton Taylor; her sister Ann King (Milton); her siblings-in-law, Lewis Perry and Connie Burnette; her nieces and nephews, Beverely Tysinger (Ricky), Barbara Strickland (Steven), June Wilson (Tommy), Susan Robertson (Jeff), Randy Major, David Major (Felica), James Burnette (Kelly) and Brad Pittman (Jackie); her grandchildren, Amanda Christal, Katessa Dula (Robert), Ricky Bartlett (Ashton McKettrick) of Patrick Bargeron, JR and Ryan Brown (Timothy); and her great grandchildren, Cadence LeBoeuf, Madison Kay Carey, Kylie Renee Carey, Bella Rayne Carey, Maicey Schindler, Waylon Brown, Wylie Brown, Sean Dodds, Ollie Bargeron, Baylee Bargeron, Kaylon Dula and Shane Dula.
