He was predeceased by: his parents, William Andrew and Cassie Spell Simmons; and his daughter Tamela K. Simmons. He is survived by: his son Ricky (Amanda Simmons) of Baxley; his grandchildren, Masie (Travis Crosby) of Baxley and Mason Simmons of Baxley; his great grandchildren, Jasie Crosby of Baxley and Jayleigh Crosby of Baxley; and his brother James Arlen Simmons of Douglas.
