She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Smith and Essie Mae Preston Smith; her son Patrick; and her siblings, Annie Ruth Barnes, James Smith, Henry Smith, Emmitt Smith and Pearlene Harvey.
She is survived by: her children, Deon Hinton (Toni) of Belton, TX, Tonya Mendez (Kim) of Fort Polk, LA, Timothy Hinton of Belton, TX, Stacy Luster of Belton, TX, Angela Hinton of McDonough, GA and Shadrick Hinton of Montezuma, GA; and her siblings, Lucille Cullen (Johnny) of Miami, FL, Merlene Smith of Montezuma, GA and Herman Smith (Daisy) of Byromville, GA.. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
Other masked attendees are welcomed but will be expected to practice social distancing. Graveside services are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such as shoes with high, thin heels.
