We are sad to announce that on March 22, 2023, at the age of 86, Carolyn Bowles Bond of Andersonville, Georgia, born in Atlanta, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Bowles and Miriam Hoxter Stocking Gordon; her husband Irving G. Bond, Sr.; her daughter Linda Mae Bond; and her sisters, Genevieve Feenaughty and Ellie Cole.
She is survived by: her sons, Irving G. Bond, Jr. and David K. Bond (Debbie); her grandchildren, Timothy, Jessica Bond, Kayreen, Chris Rigsby, Donald Bond, Jernigan Bond and Karl Bond; her great grandchildren, Jake Bond, Carolyne Bond, Ali Rigsby, Noah Rigsby, Chris Rigsby, Tristan Colyer, Shai Colyer, Dalton Bond and Amy Bond; and her sisters, Darlene Brown and Marjorie Wehner.
Mrs. Bond had a passion for reading, so in honor of that the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Schley County Schools to be used for books.
