Sarah Hoston Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sarah Hoston of Americus, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 26, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lest Wright and Leola Wright; her sons, Lee Alton Hoston, Jr. and Calvin Harris; her siblings, Charles Wright, Lonnie Wright, Toby Lee Wright, Frank Wright, Gertrude Harris, Allie Mae Cobb, Doris Wright Baisden and Ruthena Hunter; and her granddaughter Tamera Hoston.
She is survived by: her children, George Hoston (Louise), Shirley, Carolyn, Sandra Harris (Dwight) and Sarah; and her pet Pee-Wee. She is also survived by fifty-five great-grandchildren, and twenty-one great-great-grandchildren, along with a multitude of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Allen Chapel AME Church (132 Bumphead Rd, Americus, GA 31719).
