It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Bacon Paradise of Americus, Georgia, born in Plains, Georgia, who passed away on July 6, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph A. Bacon Sr. and Martha Elizabeth "Betty" Pennington Bacon; her husband Dewey Wright Paradise; her siblings, Joseph "Joe" Bacon, Jr., Eugene F. Bacon, Robert E. (Bacon) and Kathryn Bacon Mauldin; and her niece Beth Bacon Pharr.
She is survived by: her son Dewey; her daughter-in-law Cheri Paradise of Plains; her daughter Lynn; her son-in-law Rod Marchant of Americus; her grandchildren, Lauren Leigh Marchant Wall, Jared of Marietta, Kelly Marchant Lowe, Matthew of Columbia and Catie Paradise of Plains, Georgia; her great grandchildren, Marianne Elizabeth Wall, Thomas Scott Wall and Charles Sullivan "Charlie" Lowe; her sisters, Nelle Bacon Mallard of Sarasota and Marie Bacon of Marietta, Georgia; her sister-in-law Martha Bacon of Plains, Georgia.; and her close friend Alma Chapman of Plains. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
