He was predeceased by: his father Herbert C. Mason, Sr.; his brother George Mason; and his niece Kasey Mason Norton. He is survived by: his siblings, Herbert C. Mason, Jr. (Joan) of Americus and Deborah Shepard (Michael) of Americus; his nephew Dane Shepard (Shannon) of Smithville; and his nieces, Joey Snyder (Pete) of Ocilla and Meghann Hart (Chad) of Leesburg.
