She is survived by: her mother Ruby L. Hobdy of Jacksonville; her husband Johnny Merritt; her daughter Donna Harris (Delbert) of Clayton; her grandchildren, Pamela Harvey, Kimberly Barrett (Eric) of Americus, Georgia., Angela Jordan of Columbus, Whitley L. C. Hobdy, Malika Akbar, Fatima Akbar, Shaakira Akbar of Jacksonville, Brittany Hobdy of Warner Robins, Johnathan C. Hobdy of Jacksonville, Devin Hobdy (Jasmine) of Jacksonville, Kevin Hobdy (Aja) of San Diego, CA., Dawud Akabar of Jacksonville and Kierston (Kaylon Harvey); and her siblings, Robin A. Martin, Janice F. Harmon (LaRose M. Tunsil), Florda and Donald B. Hobdy of Jacksonville, Florida.. She is also survived by aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and many other friends.
