He was predeceased by: his parents, James Griggs and Evelyn Griggs; his grandson Brandon; and his nephew Jason. He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Crystal (Tony) of Gainesville, Mark (Hope) of Americus and Matthew (Jeanne) of Americus; and his siblings, Jim (Cheryl) of Augusta, Charlotte (Jim) of Navarre, FL. and Nancy (Bruce) of Marietta. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
