It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Polly Booth Hancock of Americus, Georgia, who passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Edward Booth and Eva Clyde Hutchinson Booth; her husband Roland Peyton Hancock; and her siblings, James Booth, Jack Booth and Peggy Booth Sutton.
She is survived by: her children, Roland Peyton Hancock, Jr. (Angie) of Americus and Debra Hancock Womack (Johnny) of Americus; her grandchildren, Jade Wylie (Chris) and Rolie Hancock (Marissa); her great grandchild Kyler Wylie; and her sister Joann Booth Seawright.
