It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Melton Johnson (Americus, Georgia), who passed away on June 8, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Melton Sr. and Lena Mae Bowen Melton; and her brothers, Leroy Melton Jr., J. L. Melton and Carl E. Melton.
She is survived by: her brother Robert Melton (Linda) of Americus; and her caregivers, Robert Walker (Lawana) of Baxley and Gary Underwood (Janet) of Leesburg. She is also survived by many special friends and foster children.
