With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ann Nessamar Dudley of Americus, Georgia, who passed away on February 19, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Mary Ann Nessamar leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Giuseppe Maxtuvious Franciscus Nessamar and Mary Eva Heath Nessamar; and her brother Andrew Lawrence "Bud" Nessamar. She is survived by: her husband Crawford Dudley Jr.; her children, Jessi Ann Austin Wade and Stuart Griffin Austin (Joanna); and her grandchildren, Camilla Austin Wade, Anna-Claire Wade and Pierce William Austin. She is also survived by her family, especially her beloved children and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Way-Watson Funeral Home-Ellaville (28 Oglethorpe St, Ellaville, GA 31806). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ellaville City Cemetery's. Broad.
