She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin DeVane, Sr. and Virginia Durham DeVane; her husband James "Jimmy" Harvey; her brother Marvin DeVane, Jr.; and her pet Zero.
She is survived by: her sons, Jim Harvey (Jenny Buchanan) of Americus and Rusty Harvey (Debbie Chavers) of Americus; and her sisters, Carlynn DeVane Kirby of Ellaville and Vangie DeVane Sanderlin (Charles) of Americus. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Way-Watson Funeral Home-Ellaville (28 Oglethorpe St, Ellaville, GA 31806). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Ellaville Methodist Church (185 S Broad St, Ellaville, GA 31806).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Ellaville Methodist Church, PO Box 74, Ellaville, GA 31806.
