He is survived by: his wife Josephine Williamson; his children, Bernardine Gibbon (Perry Gibbon), Georgia and Jimmie Asberry Jr. (Evelyn); and his nephew Jerome Asberry. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; 1 great great great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
