It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Shirah of Americus, Georgia, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Shirah; his sister Alice Shirah Dobyns of Austin; and his daughters, Alice Parker, Sherry Shirah and Tiffany Farr. He is also survived by his four grandchildren.
