Smith of Atlanta and Kelvin James (Alegtha) of Americus, Georgia.; his siblings, Fannie Smith of Brooklyn, Geneva Thompson of Atlanta, Martha Butler (Pacie) of Manhattan, Thomas Smith (Pauline) of Americus, George Smith, Alton Smith (Audrey) of Bloomfield Connecticut and Waymon Smith (Fannie) of Rockville Center; his grandchildren, Hugh Patrick Smith III, Tenesha Smith-Epps, Jala James-Deriso and Quavis James; and his niece Linda Smith. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
