He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilton Payne, Sr. and Alice Jones Payne; and his grandchild Dontavious. He is survived by: his wife Amanda Michelle Lundy Payne; his children, Cynthia, Jerry Campbell, Hilton Payne III and Nicholas Payne; his siblings, Martha Payne Barnum of Americus, Georgia, Minister Bobby Payne (Alice) of Americus, Georgia, Jeanette Payne of Americus, Georgia and Annette Payne of Americus, Georgia; his mother-in-law Mattie R. Colquitt; and his friend Will. He is also survived by children; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Andersonville National Cemetery.
