With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria Johnson of Americus, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 15, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her great-grandparent Marcia; her grandmother Gayla; her mother Ministries; and her siblings, George, John, Jerome, Anthony, Basil, Shirley and Hyacinth.

She is survived by: her children, Marcia Seymour (Johnson) and Linwood Johnson; and her grandchildren, Jonathan and Gayla. She is also survived by sisters and brother, and cherished nieces and nephews.

G, as she was affectionately known, lived a long and courageous life, overcoming pancreatic cancer in her 80s and passing at the age of 93 from Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson's Disease.
