She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Wood Hart and Carrie Belle Laramore Hart; her husband Floyd Acuff Shaddix; her son Stacey Waylan Shaddix; her grandson Joshua Cole Medrano; her brother Charles Hart; and her pets, Little and Baxter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marisa Shaddix Thomas (Alvin) and Cynthia Medrano Gibbs (Brian); her grandchildren, Courtney Medrano, Jessica Thomas, Brian Thomas, Dayton Medrano and Mariah Thomas Massey (Hunter); her great grandchildren, Easton Blake Phillips, Krystan Elizabeth Massey, Waverly Ryann Phillips, Carmen Elaine Massey and Harmony Ann Taylor Massey; and her aunt Evelyn Peek. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
