She was predeceased by: her husband Brooks; her parents, John David Peak and Harriett Wilson Peak; her husband Richard Even Nettum; the father of her child Ken Everett; her brother John Wilson Peak of New York, NY; and her grandson Lucas Emory Everett.
She is survived by: her children, Brooks and Dr. Lee Everett (Stephanie) of St. Simons Island, GA; her grandchildren, Whittaker Everett and Palmer Everett; her sister Sally Lanier of Americus, GA; her nieces, Moylan "Claire" Freeman of Atlanta, GA and Virgina Brooks Lanier of Americus, GA; her uncles, Fred Peak (Denise) of Panama City, FL and Floyd Peak (Chi Chi) of Phenix City, AL; and her aunt Patricia Berkemeir of Ft. Walton Beach. She is also survived by cousins, relatives, and friends.
