He is survived by: his wife Mattie Frances Griffin; his siblings, Kelvin Griffin (Tracy), Martha Alford (Mack), Freddie Thomas (Johnny), Annie Wright, Vivian Grover and Katherine Jones of Americus, GA; his mother-in-law Ethel Mansfield; his siblings-in-law, Vivian Griffin, Bernestine Mansfield, Sarah Monts and Robert Mansfield, Jr. (Donna); his aunt Ernestine Hendley (Lonnie); his nephew Johnny Griffin, Jr.; and also, Bobbie Little (Johnny), Sam Dodson, Jr. (Mary), Malcolm Tellis (Anita), Kerry Davis, Essie Leon Davis, Mandy Jones (Fred) of Americus, GA, Peggy Chevers (Melvin) and Mammie Jackson of Fort Myers, FL. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; devoted caregivers, Tawana Wilbon, Wendy Adams and Patricia Rogers; and a host of nieces, nephews.
